Uniform, dense, true black. The outdoor counter that survives everything.
Absolute Black is a fine-grained gabbro with almost no visible crystal pattern — a genuinely uniform black, which is rarer in natural stone than people assume. Most "black granite" is speckled; this is not.
Its usual home is horizontal work surfaces: outdoor kitchen counters, grill surrounds, bar tops. It is non-porous enough for food prep, it does not etch, and a leathered finish hides fingerprints and water marks that would plague a polished top.
As a floor it is dramatic and hot. As a counter it is close to the ideal outdoor material.
Each of these opens the library filtered to everything suitable for that use, so you can see what Absolute Black Granite is competing against.
