Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of marbull.net. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

1. What Marbull is — and is not

Marbull is an information and introduction platform operated by Karcilar Investments LLC ("Marbull", "we"). We display stone inventory published by independent distributors, provide reference material about stone, and let homeowners and contractors find one another.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your password and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly at support@depotbooks.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You choose a role — contractor, homeowner, or distributor. Roles determine what you can access. Misrepresenting your role, or creating an account to scrape listings or harvest contacts, is grounds for termination.

3. Inventory, prices, and availability

Listings are published by distributors from their own systems and reflect their data, not ours. We pass through what they publish. Stone moves by the pallet and inventory can change between page loads.

Always confirm quantity, price, lot, and lead time directly with the distributor before ordering or committing to a job. Marbull does not warrant that any listing is accurate, current, or complete, and is not liable for a purchase made in reliance on one.

The listed price shown is set by the distributor. Marbull adds no markup and receives no share of it.

4. The stone library

Cost ranges, heat, slip, maintenance guidance, and material descriptions in the stone library are general industry information for orientation, offered in good faith. They are not a specification, an engineering opinion, or installation advice, and they do not account for your substrate, climate, drainage, code requirements, or intended load.

Retain a licensed professional for anything structural, load-bearing, or safety-related. Slip resistance in particular depends on finish, installation, sealing, and maintenance — not on material alone.

5. Projects and bids

Posting a project is an invitation for contractors to bid. It creates no obligation on you to hire anyone, and no obligation on any contractor to perform. Accepting a bid on Marbull is not a construction contract — it is an introduction. Any actual agreement, scope, schedule, and payment terms are between you and the contractor, in whatever contract you sign with them.

Marbull does not verify licensure, insurance, bonding, workmanship, or references, and does not endorse or recommend any contractor or distributor. Verify licence and insurance yourself before hiring anyone. In Florida, licences can be checked with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

6. Distributor obligations

If you publish listings, you represent that you have the right to sell the material, that quantities and prices are accurate at publication, and that you will honour a published price for a reasonable period or promptly correct it. You are responsible for responding to quote requests you receive.

7. Acceptable use

• No scraping, bulk extraction, or automated collection of listings, projects, or user information.
• No using the platform to harvest contact details for marketing unrelated to a specific project.
• No false, misleading, or duplicate postings or bids.
• No attempt to circumvent access controls, role restrictions, or another account's data.
• No unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory conduct.

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms, without notice where the breach is serious.

8. Intellectual property

The Marbull name, the site, its design, and the stone library text are owned by Karcilar Investments LLC and protected by copyright. You may read and share links freely. You may not copy, republish, or build a competing catalogue from the library content without written permission. Listing data belongs to the distributor that published it.

9. Availability

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. Live inventory depends on third-party systems that can be unavailable.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARBULL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

MARBULL IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY DISPUTE WITH A DISTRIBUTOR OR CONTRACTOR, ANY DEFECTIVE MATERIAL, ANY WORKMANSHIP, OR ANY RELIANCE ON A LISTING OR LIBRARY ENTRY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Karcilar Investments LLC and its officers from claims arising out of your use of the service, your postings or listings, or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Palm Beach County, Florida. You and Marbull each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead.

13. Changes

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and noted to account holders at sign-in. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
