The travertine look, sealed forever at the factory. Popular where irrigation runs hard.
Travertine-look porcelain reproduces the banding and soft cream of ivory or silver travertine on a body that absorbs nothing. On a property with hard well water and heavy irrigation — where real travertine picks up iron staining within a season — this is often the more honest recommendation.
The 2CM paver format installs the same ways real travertine does, including dry-set on gravel or sand, and it will not spall.
What it cannot do is age. Real travertine develops a patina and a worn softness at the edges over a decade; porcelain looks the same on day one and day four thousand. Whether that is a feature or a loss depends entirely on the client.
Each of these opens the library filtered to everything suitable for that use, so you can see what Travertine-Look Porcelain is competing against.
