Silver Clouds

Silver Clouds is a mid-grey marble whose veining pools rather than streaks, producing soft cloudy passages across a slab. It sits between Carrara and a true charcoal stone, and it is the one to reach for when a client wants marble but is nervous about a bright white floor.

Grey hides the two things that bother marble owners most: fine surface etching and everyday grey traffic dirt. The same etch that shows as an obvious dull ring on polished Carrara is nearly invisible on honed Silver Clouds.

It cladds particularly well. Ledger panels in this stone give a fireplace or a feature wall depth without the busyness of a multi-tone travertine.
